Center for Research Libraries
Includes collections of primary source material such as newspapers, pamphlets, and government reports. Many collections are digitized; other materials may be ordered through ILL and will typically arrive in about three days.

Making of the Modern World (Online) Restricted Resource
Offers the full text of thousands of books, serials, pamphlets, essays, and more from major libraries around the world. These resources track the development of the modern, western world (from 1450 onwards) through the lens of trade and wealth. The titles are in English as well as many other languages.

A digital library of primary source material from Eighteenth century America.
Google Book Search
Provides full-text of many books no longer under copyright, and allows searching of the contents of many more titles.
