National Map
A comprehensive source of maps, geospatial and geostatistical data for the United States.
NASA Earth Observatory Resource contains images
Offers geological, environmental, and geographical information about the planet Earth from NASA's extensive repositories of satellite imagery and numeric data. Includes color photographs, maps, satellite images, articles, data sets, and more.

Geographic information and maps from the US Central Intelligence Agency. Also includes people, government, economy, communications, transportation, and military information.

Library of Congress Map Collection
