John Forrest Chapman papers
Chapman graduated from Grinnell College in 1924. He taught 1924-26 in the Grinell-in-China program at the Porter Middle School near Techow in the northern part of Shantung province. Includes photographs and a short memoir of his time in Techow.
Alice Reed Letters from China, 1916-1948 (Excerpts)
Alice Reed taught in China for 32 years and these excerpts from her letters describe her life teaching in Northern China.

American Context of China's Christian Colleges and Schools
A cooperative website whose purpose is to investigate the interaction between the China Christian colleges and American liberal arts colleges between 1900 and 1950. Grinnell is one of eleven colleges participating in the project.
